Round And Oblong Potato Sorting Equipment

We have three different sorting equipment that can be used to sort or grade potatoes. This page introduces the roller potato sorter, which has different requirements for the shape of potatoes. Potatoes can be round, oval or irregular in shape. Potatoes can be divided into three, four, five or more grades according to their size. The specific grading requirements can be customized according to customer requirements.

The potato sorting equipment working process is: after the material (mostly round and oval fruits and vegetables, such as apples and potatoes) enters the equipment, it is laid flat on the surface of the roller in a single layer under the action of gravity; the roller is in contact with the non-metallic track below, and it revolves (moves horizontally) and rotates at the same time, driving the material to rotate and move toward the discharging direction. As the rollers move forward, the initial small gap between the rollers gradually increases. When the diameter of the material is smaller than the current gap, it falls from the gap into the corresponding discharge conveyor belt and is graded according to size. The staff can also detect unqualified products while the material is moving to ensure the sorting quality, and finally complete the accurate grading and collection of fruits and vegetables of different specifications.
